Illustrator - Overview

Adobe Illustrator is a vector-based drawing program. Illustrator CS5, is the fourteenth generation in the product line. Numerous new features include multiple artboards in a single document, a "blob brush" that is similar to the brush in Adobe Flash, and supports transparency in gradients among other features

You will be posting all your completed assignments to an Internet Web server provided by pTEC or your own. All assignments are to be uploaded as PDF files. I will provide you with a login and password for the Web Design program Web server. You are required to upload your finished assignment to the class server using Filezilla (FTP), link it to your Assignments Page and submit a link to your Assignments page through the Dropbox in Angel (http://www.ptec-online.org).

Before you begin learning Illustrator take the Illustrator Pre-Test, to take this test select the Tests folder, select Illustrator Tests, select Illustrator Pre-Test.

After completing the pre-test open your textbook, read pages 8-31. When you have completed this reading proceed to Lesson 1.
