Indesign - Overview

Adobe InDesign CS5 is a powerful design and production application that offers precision, control, and seamless integration with other Adobe applications. You can produce professional quality, full-color documents on high-volume printing presses, or print to a wide range of output devices and formats. You will learn how to create dynamic documents that can be exported as Adobe Flash files with buttons, hyperlinks, and page transitions, or as PDF files with bookmarks.

You will be posting all your completed assignments to an Internet Web server provided by pTEC or your own. All assignments are to be uploaded as PDF files. I will provide you with a login and password for the Web Design program Web server. You are required to upload your finished assignment to the class server using Filezilla (FTP), link it to your Assignments Page and submit a link to your Assignments page through the Dropbox in Angel (http://www.ptec-online.org).

Before you begin learning InDesign take the InDesign Pre-Test, to take this test select the Tests folder, select Indesign Tests, select the Indesign Pre-Test.

After completing the pre-test open your textbook and do Lesson 1.
