After Effects - Overview

Adobe After Effects provides a comprehensive set of 2D and 3 D tools for compositing, animation and effects that motion-graphics professionals, visual effects, web designers and film and video professionals need. After Effects is widely used for digital post-production of film, video, DVD and the web.You can composite layers in various ways, apply and combine sophisticated visual and audio effects and animate both objects and effects.

You will be posting all your completed assignments to an Internet Web server provided by pTEC or your own. All assignments are to be uploaded. I will provide you with a login and password for the Web Design class Web server. You are required to upload your finished assignment to the class server using Filezilla (FTP), link it to your Assignments Page and submit a link to your Assignments page through the Dropbox in Angel (http://www.ptec-online.org).

Before you begin learning After Effects take the After Effects Pre-Test, to take this test select the Tests folder, select Adobe After Effects Tests, select Adobe After Effects Pre-Tests

After completing the pre-test open your textbook and do Lesson 1.
