PHP - Overview

PHP is open source software. PHP is the reining king of dynamic Web design tools and has begun to expand beyond the realm of Web development. PHP requires that it be installed on a Web server to be used. You cannot review your PHP Web site unless you have uploaded it to a Web site. PHP is used to interface with MySQL database.

You will be posting all your completed assignments to an Internet Web server provided by pTEC or your own. I will provide you with a login and password for the Web Design program Web server. You are required to upload all your completed assignments. After you have uploaded first check that it works. E-mail me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it which assignment you have completed. Remember to use proper English when submitting this e-mail. Also use spell checker before sending your e-mail as your e-mail is part of each completed assignment.

Before you begin learning PHP take the pre-test. You are only required to enter your name and e-mail address. You may only take this test or any test in this course once.
